a feminist-activist booklist

As I’ve mentioned, many obnoxious times, I decided to read a lot this summer. I figured that during the school year I wouldn’t be able to read the books I really wanted to. Taking advantage of this time, I’m reading books that I really want to. These are books, that have given me different perspectives on things, given me new role models, and have helped shape my views as a feminist. I’ll leave links to the books, but I also recommend checking out your local used books stores. A few of these books I found at used books stores, for cheap and still good quality.  I also really like book recommendations, so feel free to leave them down in the comments.

i’m back

hi. I had to take a break from blogging for a while. School, finals, and some personal stuff made it too complicated for me to blog and it was taking away from the quality of my posts. Since summer is starting, I’m back.

next week there will be a new post about my june bullet journal spread.

also, as an added plus, this is my 200th post!

thanks.

my may bullet journal spread, pinterest themed!

may bullet journal.jpg

Hello Everyone! I’m so excited for this spread because it was by far my favorite bullet journal spread I’ve ever done. I used Pinterest to find inspiration for these pages after developing a color scheme. The core colors are a few shades of blue, a bright red, a light pink, and grey. I definitely did not keep it minimalistic. After determining that I wanted to make this month extra special, I decided to start early. This took a lot more time than my usual spreads, although if you do want to see those posts, keep reading to the end for all of those links. Enjoy!

My Summer Playlist + Music Favorites

playlist 2.jpg

Hello Everyone! I hope your summer is going well! I have been listening to music a lot lately and I finally got around to making a playlist on Spotify. Aside from my own playlist, I usually listen to the Today’s Top Hits playlist by Spotify. Summer has gotten me in the mood to just sit and listen to music. And I’ve learned that I actually enjoy it a lot more than I used to.Some of these songs from that list and some are songs from movies or they are older. Enjoy!

Hello Everyone! Skincare is a big part of my life. And although it’s kind of minimal, there are days where I really go all out to make sure that my skin is clear and healthy. Spring Clothing Haul!

IMG_2193-2.jpg

Hello Everyone! I went shopping….again. But this time I went to ROMWE, so it doesn’t count. Romwe is a website which sells really cheap and really cute clothes. I have both things from there before, to test it out, but I bought a couple more last week. This is a try on haul. In case you were wondering, I am 5 ‘4″ and all the clothes are a size small, but they are kind of big on me. With each outfit, I listed the price but they were all under the price of $14. Except for one item, which was a special occasion item. I’ve had good experiences with ROMWE before, and I’m really happy with how the clothes came.
