How to Make Comfy + Cozy Fall PJs!

diy pj pants.jpg

Hello Everyone! Oh my goodness, I haven’t done a sewing/DIY post in such a long time. School and life, in general, has got me so stressed and busy, I haven’t even had any time. This is a very easy DIY that I do all the time, even when it isn’t the fall season. It’s my thing, my staple piece. Usually, I make it for my sister, but this time I made some for myself. This really festive flannel print was on sale, and I thought it would make some really cute pants. Most of the steps, I did go into a lot of detail just in case it got a little confusing. There will also be a lot of pictures with markings to make it easier for everyone. Enjoy!

Hello Everyone! It’s been a while since I’ve done a DIY post, or a sewing post. I used to do them all the time but I got too busy. Lately I’ve been making smaller things like pajama pants and shorts. If you like these types of posts, give me some things to make in the comments, and I’ll make a blogpost about them. And there are going to be a lot more pictures on my Instagram. Enjoy!

Spring Clothing Haul!

IMG_2193-2.jpg

Hello Everyone! I went shopping….again. But this time I went to ROMWE, so it doesn’t count. Romwe is a website which sells really cheap and really cute clothes. I have both things from there before, to test it out, but I bought a couple more last week. This is a try on haul. In case you were wondering, I am 5 ‘4″ and all the clothes are a size small, but they are kind of big on me. With each outfit, I listed the price but they were all under the price of $14. Except for one item, which was a special occasion item. I’ve had good experiences with ROMWE before, and I’m really happy with how the clothes came.

How to make Fun Pajama Pants!

IMG_9075.JPG

Hello Everyone! We all make mistakes. When I bought this fabric, I mixed it up with another type of flannel and switched the measurements I wanted for them. I ended up with 1 yard of fabric of this. My sister REALLY wanted pants because she doesn’t like shorts, so I had to get creative. I took some purple-blue knit fabric and used it to make the pants longer. This turned out to be a good mistake, because it came out really good. And the print is so cute and really really really fun!

How to Make a Cozy Sweater

IMG_8320-2.jpg

Hello everyone! I MADE A SWEATER! *yay* I love making sweaters. This is a very easy DIY and it requires little sewing. I used a knit/fleece fabric and it took me less than one day to make. I bought 1 1/2 yards of fabric, but it depends on the size of the sweater. The fabric I’m using is so stretchy and warm. And I wanted the length to be longer but not to long so I made it where my wrists were on my hips. And my signature sleeves, extra extra long. It’s also perfect for the winter! And I had some extra fabric so I made matching shorts!

DIY CACTUS Plushie

Hello Everyone! I’m so excited. I love cacti. (but I never forget my grammar, #grammar queen) And I needed a smaller pin cushion that I could move around with me in my sewing room. It’s super easy and quick! Although, since it’s smaller, I hand sewed everything, except the eyes.

How to Make a Pattern out of your own clothes!

BE73EDD5-868E-4AA7-9BE4-A028A3CEBC1A

Hello Everyone! I use this hack a lot. I like duplicating my clothes but changing them a bit. And I don’t like spending money on sewing patterns. So, this comes in handy.
CONSIDER, this as part one of a big project I’m doing. This will show how I got the pattern for it. I recommend using parchment paper or newspaper because they are both really sturdy and durable, in case you want to reuse this pattern.

I’m using my mother’s jacket to trace it and then I will downsize it. It is the same type of jacket I want, just bigger. This is mostly just step 1, 2,3, Repeat.

DIY Furry Blanket with Trimming Pt 1

Hello Everyone! Recently I made a simple fuzzy blanket for my sister. Now I know it’s summer and it’s really hot but we all have that one family member who blasts the AC a little too much. And if not, a furry blanket is always nice to have. I love the fabric and it was pretty cheap, only $2.00 per yard at Costco. Even thought it seems like a simple craft, it was actually pretty time-consuming, because of the size and fabrics used. But, if you have the time and are patient, it should be easy.
