My February Bullet Journal Spread! Movies, Quotes, Doodles and More!

Hello Everyone! I’m back. I had to take a break, which I will explain a little bit more in a special blog post coming up, but I wanted to come back strong with a bujo post. It’s a new month, obviously meaning a new bujo spread. Let me know if you have any question in the comments, email me, etc. Enjoy!

I had a lot of energy when I first started to create this spread, so this page has a lot going on. The common theme is a mix of Minnie and Mickey, and also film. On the front page, it’s just the two of them doing facemasks in the lower left corner. The main, eye-catching aspects are the film strips. I put iconic rom-com scenes in each of the film strip bubbles.

My mood tracker being a success these past few months, I wanted to expand my designs. Here’s the situation: Minnie and Mickey are watching a rom-com together. They are having fun watching the movie, eating popcorn, which flies everywhere. Ok, now that that’s over, I drew a movie theater with popcorn, each attributed a day, which I will color in according to the mood key at the bottom. That’s basically how a mood tracker works, but if you have more questions feel free to comment down below.

This is a simple quote page, highlighting own of my favorite romance movie quotes, “If you’re a bird, I’m a bird”. For those of you who don’t recognize this, it’s from the movie The Notebook. It’s a nice refresher from the normal spread and was a great way to play around with some hand lettering.

I stuck with my normal layout for the monthly spread. I wanted to keep this page a lot simpler than the previous ones because I use it a lot. It’s going to get cluttered and full soon, and I wanted to keep it from getting messy. In the corner I drew Minnie kissing Mickey, just to continue with the theme.

I also kept going with a similar daily spread layout. It’s my favorite way to do the daily spread, but I made it look like film strips. This gives me enough room for daily tasks and is continuing to be cohesive with the theme.

Finally, I wrapped up this month’s spread and my actual bujo with a quote. I didn’t want to get a whole new bujo for 2019 when I had room for two more months, so I ended the bujo with February. Back to the quote, it says love is old, love is new, love is always, love is you *you being my cat*. I thought it would be a good way to finish the romantic comedy spread and is very simplistic and neat.

I hope you enjoyed this post! I always enjoy making my bullet journals, but this was one of my favorites. Romance comedies or romance movies overall are my favorite things in the world. You could also tailor this theme to different months, genres, or instead of movies maybe life moments or goals. This is my version of the rom-com film spread that I really like, but you can make it your own too! Thanks for reading! Let me know if you have any question in the comments, email me, etc. Enjoy
