It’s Women’s Equality Day!!!

Hello Everyone! It’s Women’s Equality Day!!!! We all know how much I care about equality, feminism, and all sorts of this like that. I’ve seen documentaries and I’ve read articles all about Women’s Equality Day. I am going to give some history behind this special day. Also, since this means a lot to me, I’m going to give my experiences and my history with it! Enjoy!

Here are some other blogposts I’ve written, if you’re interested, Women’s Day!    Feminism and Fashion!    I love writing about this, because I’m really passionate about it. I’m a proud feminist.

In case you didn’t know, Women’s Equality Day celebrates the anniversary of the 19th Amendment, giving women the right to vote. August 26th, 1920. It took all of the petitions, marches, and news papers, until the suffragettes got to the point of the adoption of the amendments.

Here’s the brochure for Women’s Equality Day!

I really hope you enjoyed this post! Women’s Equality Day has such a great story behind it. I really love it when these holidays come around, because it gives a positive side and some hope to the overall topic. It’s also really great to recognize and celebrate occasions, like the 19th amendment and make it an importance. I hope you all have a great day!!
